COVID-19 Updates


If you are a person seeking, or are required to enter a courthouse facility please be aware of the following health/safety protocols:

Starting Monday, August 2, 2021, occupants of all Nineteenth Judicial Circuit courthouse facilities, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, are recommended and encouraged to utilize face masks while in all areas of the facility.  If you would like to wear a face mask but are not in possession of one, a face mask will be provided to you at no cost.  Upon entry notify security, or the judge or presiding officer of the court you are attending, that you request a face mask and one will be provided to you at no cost.

On November 4, 2021, Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles T. Canady issued AOSC21-17 Amendment 2 (PDF), effective November, 15, 2021, amending Health and Safety Protocols, requiring certain in-person hearings.  Press release on updates to court COVID safety protocols - Supreme Court.

Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles T. Canady issued one new administrative order, No. AOSC 21-17 (PDF), on Friday, June 4, 2021, lifting COVID-19 safety restrictions such as wearing masks and distancing from others while in courtrooms during proceedings. The order states that Chief Judges may drop the mask and distancing requirements in courtrooms during proceedings as soon as June 21, 2021, and no later than August 2, 2021.

For the safety of our citizens and in compliance with state and federal recommendations for combatting COVID-19, our office is open to the public weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The Chief Judge of the 19th Judicial Circuit has directed that the circuit continue to comply with certain safety protocols. Facemasks and social distancing will be required for all in-person court proceedings and jury assembly. Based on improving local health conditions, Jury Trials have resumed in Martin County.

The Clerk's Indiantown Office remains temporarily closed.

Florida’s court system operations have been reduced because of the COVID-19 pandemic; however, the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, is open and available to anyone who wishes to file documents with the court system. In addition, the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal Help Desk remains available during regularly scheduled business hours.
